An encounter between figurative art and high jewelry: elegance, creativity and tradition of craftsmanship.
The initiative aims to bring together two forms of art by succeeding in expressing a genuine union between the feelings of a ‘portrait’ and those of a ‘jewel’.
The gallery of portraits by Simonella Grizi Flick on display for the occasion manages to make us observe the soul of the characters depicted with tender sweetness: nephews and daughters, a private world permeated with affection and shown through small canvases that simply make us take part into a family dialogue and into moments of a naive and rare complicity between children.
In the artistic production of Simonella Grizi Flick it is always exciting to catch the eyes of the children who “… smile to the world and to life. To scrutinize those enlightened faces by a recurring imperceptible smile, incites tenderness and peace.”
(Louis Godart)
These two forms of art meet to show the sensible capacity of the artist to express the feelings in an authentic way, depicting them in a portrait, in a precious jewel, in an appreciated gift.
